Our unique program combines physical and mental training to ensure you achieve the results you desire. To help our clients maintain real, long-lasting results we individually design a program tailored to specific goals. Our proprietary approach utilizes the fundamental principles of athletic strength training, cardio-endurance, and nutrition to transform the body and revitalize the mind.





At HPL we commit to changing our clients’ perceptions and attitudes toward exercise, fitness, and health. HPL Presents

Intro to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 

Our “introduction is a great way if the sport is for you! For the month of August we will be holding 2 sessions. Wednesday August 14th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm and again on Monday August 26th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. $10 per session, packages are available. We will be switching to a once a week schedule in September. There is NO obligation..No contract. If you miss a class NO WORRIES!!! You can make up the class later at no charge.

The main goal of our introductory to BJJ is to provide the new student with the basic details and techniques that they will encounter in a fundamental class. Our Intro class will take away the nervousness, give the student a structured learning environment, and provide the opportunity to ask questions and see what BJJ is all about.

Each student will be given an understanding of the Jiu Jitsu style being taught and the method of instruction they will receive in a regular class setting. These lessons give the instructor a chance to gauge physical abilities and learning style of the student. This all needs to be considered to ensure successful lesson plans for the future. 


Class Structure

Light HPL Band Warm Up

3 to 5 minutes of calisthenics that involve the entire body

Demonstration of basic techniques

Practice and application of demonstrated techniques

Transition into basic techniques

Cool down

ALL students will be shown how to “TAP” from a position or submission. It is essential that students understand that everyone gets caught and tapping is what prevents them from getting injured.

Live training aka ”rolling” will NOT performed in the intro classes.
