An important part of any responsible training program, a fitness assessment objectively measures your current level of physical fitness. Without an effective fitness assessment, growth cannot be accurately measured. Sean's fitness assessment incorporates many different methods to achieve accurate results.

Strength Training

An important part of the process is tracking results. To maximize your progress, we need to continually monitor and adjust your program. Circuit training is a form of conditioning combining resistance training and high-intensity aerobics. It is designed to be easy to follow and target strength building as well as muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for another circuit. Endurance Event Program Strategies  (Training Plan Design - $75.00)

Post Rehabilitation Hardening   (10 Sessions - $660) 
At HPL our trainers will utilize work hardening to assist patients in returning to their pre-injury work level in a safe and timely manner. Work hardening is by appointment only and can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours in duration per session. Work hardening includes cardiovascular conditioning, strengthening and flexibility exercise, joint and spine stabilization exercise, instruction of safe and proper body mechanics, and training in both material and non-material handling job tasks. When possible, work hardening tasks are customized to meet the needs of a specific job description.

Human Movement and Flexibility 10 Session Package  (8 Sessions - $320)

Human Movement and Flexibility sessions are a form of exercise that’s for everyone, men and women, celebrities and everyday people, young or old, fit or flabby. Like many other kinds of exercise, Human Movement and Flexibility sessions  increases metabolism, promotes respiratory and circulatory function and improves bone density and muscle tone.  The HPL Human Movement and Flexibility session includes 34 self and assisted stretches with concomitant physiological and psychological benefits.   An introduction to the principles of resistance flexibility and strength training as well as an excellent way to relieve stress. 

Speed and Plyometrics 10 Session Package   (12 Sessions - $456)
Plyometric exercises are the rapid deceleration and acceleration of muscles that create a stretch - shortening cycle.  These exercises train the muscles, connective tissue, and nervous system to effectively carry out the stretch - shortening cycle, therby improving a speed or power based athlete's performance. Plyometric drills can be a fundamental part of training for each and every sport.  Most competitive sports require a rapid deceleration of the body followed by an immediate acceleration in the opposite direction.  Plyometric drills help develop rhythm, speed, power and even muscular endurance.  Plyometrics, used correctly and for a specific purpose, can be a tremendous asset to your individual athlete as well as to the general and specific conditioning of your entire sport program.
